THE DREAM PARTS WAYS WITH DEF JAM RECORDS

Singer-songwriter  The Dream  has announced that he will be parting ways with his long-time label Def Jam Records.

The Dream initially signed with Def Jam in 2007, after writing the global hit “Umbrella” for Rihanna. He then went to release his debut album Love Hate, and created his own label imprint Radio Killa Records.

It seems as though this departure was amicable, and there has been no official word on where The Dream plans to go next.
