POWER Music: Hiatus Kaiyote

Hiatus Kaiyote

The Melbourne four-piece Hiatus Kaiyote is incredibly hard to define. Falling under the term ‘future soul’ their EP Tawk Tomahawk never settles in one style – ranging from soul, experimental beats, jazz and glitch-hop it stuns a listener with almost cinematic style. We catch up with lead singer Nai Palm to talk about their debut ahead of their upcoming gigs at the Evelyn Hotel on May 3rd and supporting Lapalux and oOoOO at Revolt Melbourne Artspace on May 26th.
