The Beatles’ 1964 performance on The Ed Sullivan Show marked one of the most iconic moments in music history. It was the band’s first ever Amercan gig and set pace to a flame that would soon spread like a wildfire across popular culture.

To celebrate the birth of Beatles mania and the 50th anniversary of their performance on the Ed Sullivan Show, Apple has created a special iTunes channel where fans can catch an exclusive 14-minute clip of the performance for a limited time only. Those browsing the catalogue will  also be able to purchase all 13 of The Beatles U.S albums at the price of $120, as well as stream interviews and on-the-go music through iTunes Radio.

There were babys born today who will probably be Beatles fans when they grow up, so it makes sense for Apple to pay homage to their unparralled legacy. To enjoy this special offering, be sure to check out the special channel here.
