POWER CREATIVES: KENDRICK LAMAR SET TO DEBUT SHORT FILM AT 2014 SUNDANCE FESTIVAL

The life of Kendrick Lamar can now be seen on the big screen. The Compton, California rapper is set to debut the short film of his album “ good kid, m.A.A.d city”, on August 9th during the Sundance Next Fest in Los Angeles, CA.

Khalil Joseph, who is known for his short film “Until The Quit Comes”, is the director behind Kendrick’s project. He also known for directing the backing visuals on Kanye’s “Yeezus” tour.

The film is 14 minutes of home videos of Kendrick’s up bringing in Compton along with footage of the “Yeezus” tour. Fans that are familiar with Josephs work will definitely recognize his techniques in this project.
