Danielle Smith, former Warner Music Group executive, has been arrested on first degree charges for embezzling over $1 million dollars on her corporate account, according to the New York Post. Smith worked in the Artist Development department, and was responsible for scouting and developing new talent for the label.
Smith resigned from Warner in 2011, after alleged accusations of fraud. She has turned herself into the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and has plead not guilty to the charges.
